The Battered Women's Shelter believes in every individual's strength, creativity, and resolution.

We believe every individual has the ability to make a choice and carry out that choice. 

We do not advocate any one choice or method of dealing with domestic abuse.

We help individuals explore all of their options by providing information and support through a variety of programs and services.

Our Mission

To provide emergency shelter and Supportive Services to Victims of Family violence and their children, who are in danger of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. 

To Provide Court Advocacy services to those victims seeking to end family violence by using the rights and protection provided through the judicial system.

To promote community awareness and sensitivity relative to the problems of domestic violence.

To break the cycle of abuse through comprehensive quality crisis intervention services to all families living in a domestic violence life.
